The Texture browser shows the currently loaded textures. When you load UnrealEd then no texture packages are loaded by default. Whenever you load a map, only those textures included in the map are loaded into the editor, not the whole packages. Icons:
To load a package choose File->Open and load one of the .utx files. If you want to create your own package then simply create a new texture (File->New) and set its Package to the new package name you require. After you have done this you then need to save the package by choosing File->Save. The drop down boxes contain a list of the loaded packages and then a list of the groups within the current package. Click on the All check box to show all textures from the current package. Note, some textures do not have a group and will not show up unless you tick the All button. Other menu options
The Filter box at the bottom does as it suggests, allows you to filter on the names of the textures in the current package. |
