Dynamic Lights

Unlike Static Lights, Dynamic Lights can have many more effects, and can look much more interesting to a player. The catch however is that they require a lot more resources to be rendered, and may have a very detrimental effect on the framerate on lower end machines. This means that while pretty, they should be used sparingly, and certainly carefully.

Dynamic lights can move (by attaching them to a moving object) or they can flicker on and off, or they can give off a light in such a way that it appears to be sparkling, glittering or any mixture of the above. The light is initially placed in the same way as a Static Light but more settings need to be changed to create the effects. (This is explained under the Adding Lights heading in this section of this file).
